VISA INFORMATION
Please gather the following documents for your visa application.
Official and original school certificates.
2 photos must be attached; the photo should be of passport format – a recent whole-face capture with a light background. Learn more about photo requirements and specifications for a Hungarian Visa.
Copy of your passport photo-page and previous visas. Your passport must have at least two blank pages and be valid for at least 12 more months.
Your CV.
A language certificate of English skills (if applicable).
A cover letter including your motivation of studying at Eu college group and in Hungary, your previous trips abroad and family background.
A letter from your sponsor’s or your employer.
Notarised sponsorship letter stating that your sponsor will finance your studies and transfer at least 500 EUR/month.
EU-College Group Visa Support Certificates that certifies student status, accommodation in the Residence Hall, health insurance for the first year of studies and English skills.
Financial background on your or your own bank account (enough for one year’s stay in Budapest including the return travel costs, around EUR 8,000, coming from a regular income that must be evident from the bank account statements) and if one of your parents/legal guardian/spouse is sponsoring your stay, you have to prove that you are related. You must have your own bank account as well to show you have some income, if no income available you must show that your parents sending regular money to your bank account, Eu-College Group is holding a blocked account for you to show genuine spending money available. Block account should be topped up by a minimum 3000 euros in the EU-College Group account.
Some knowledge about Hungary, European labor market and our programmes which are related to the European labor market.
Travel and health insurance prepaid for embassy interview.
Local health insurance (appr. 300 EUR to be paid along with college fees).
Accommodation details (we certify your accommodation in the final acceptance letter).
A language certificate of English skills is required for a minimum B2 level.
Notarised health certificate from state doctor.
A filled out and signed Application Form for Residence Permit for the purpose of studies and Appendix 13 for daytime students or appendix 15 for adult training.
Checklists are available on the different consular websites and will be shared with students individually with the final admission letter.
The visa process might take between 6-10 weeks, please book your interview in due time. At some Consulates you will have to ask and wait for an appointment for the visa interview, so we suggest you to arrange an appointment right after you have paid the tuition fee and registration fee and we will send your Visa Support Certificate in your online application after we have administered your payment.
